Imma let you finish but today may just be one of the greatest days of ALL TIME! On this day June 8 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia, a legend by the name of Kanye Omari West was born.

Fast forward forty years and Kanye is undoubtedly one of the most prolific, innovative and influential names in modern culture today and it would be impossible to imagine the music industry without his existence.

Continually breaking the boundaries between music and art, his recent projects have been centered around his Yeezy clothing and footwear and ‘The Kids Supply’ which is a joint children’s clothing venture with wife Kim Kardashian. That’s not to say however he is done with music, with speculation mounting that the rapper has been in the mountains of Wyoming seeking inspiration for his next record, which would of course be a follow up to 2016’s ‘The Life Of Pablo.’

Seven studios albums, 21 Grammy awards and over 21 million album sales, it’s clear as day that Mr West’s name and status is unrivalled and his fans and peers not only respect him for his incredible musical output but his honesty and ability to stand up for himself and what he believes in. ‘Ye isn’t just a rapper, he’s an artist. The stories he tells both in his music and outside is felt and understood by millions.

Having been lucky enough to see Yeezy live on numerous occasions, we can tell you it’s an exhilarating experience from the stage set up and concept to delivery. Kanye really is an artist dedicated to his craft and delivering the best show possible. As the showman once said, “My greatest pain in life is that I’ll never see myself perform live.”

So let’s raise a toast and celebrate Kanye’s birthday from the luxury of our own homes by watching some of his greatest live performances below.
