First Lady of Fabulosity! Michelle Obama looked positively regal beside President Barack Obama at the Kennedy Center Honors gala in Washington D.C. on Sunday, Dec. 8. With her husband looking handsome in a tuxedo, the First Lady, 49, donned a jaw-dropping , floor-length teal-green Marchesa gown featuring off-the-shoulder bodice ruching. The mother of two wore her hair in dramatic, flirty waves and wore a simple silver necklace. See more pictures from Sunday’s event.

En route to the reception after the annual event, the President, 52, and the First Lady held hands as they made their way through the White House, decked out in festive Christmas and holiday decorations.

As glamorous as the First Lady appeared on Sunday, she recently confessed her biggest fashion regret on BET’s 106th and Park. “I’m kind of always happy with what I’m wearing,” the President’s wife of 21 years began, before finally confessing, Sometimes I forget I’m the first lady and I’m running around in shorts,” she confessed. “I know the first time we went on a family vacation I had shorts on getting off of Air Force One. That created a huge stink because people were like, ‘She’s wearing shorts getting off of Air Force One.’ And I  thought, ‘We’re on vacation! ‘ So, I’ve avoided shorts getting off of Air Force One.”
